First day of snow 2009… recap.
The “first” day of snow 2009 was a GREAT day.
Now, please understand…
The day was not just GREAT because… the office was closed.
The day was not just GREAT because… I slept in.
The day was not just GREAT because… I lounged around the house with my family.

The day was not just GREAT because… I played Monopoly and Pay Day with my wife and daughter.
The day was not just GREAT because… I had a snowball fight with my daughter.

The day was not just GREAT because… I made snow angel’s with my daughter.

The day was not just GREAT because… I took a nap with my son.

The day was GREAT because I shared time with my family. I was able to thoroughly enjoy special moments with my wife, my daughter and my son. This is why we are here men. We are here to live and not to watch life go by.
Many times we find value in our occupations and careers instead of our family. We do not focus on the business at hand… raising a family. And raising a family means time with your ENTIRE family… wife, sons and daughters. Take the time to cherish these moments with them. Roll around in the snow, play board games, take naps. After all, the reason you leave the house every day and spend more time away from your family than with your family is to support them. The most valuable mode of support is T-I-M-E.
