How Should Men Sacrifice Themselves Daily?

Pro Football Hall of Famer Anthony Muñoz talks...

I attended a presentation by All-Pro, NFL Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz recently.  Anthony Munoz played thirteen years in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals as an offensive lineman.  Anthony played against former NFL Hall of Famers Mike Singletary, Bruce Smith and Reggie White.  Anthony had the pleasure of playing alongside and blocking for players like Ken Anderson, Boomer Esiason and Max Montoya.  The presentation definitely had its share of football talk and football questions following the presentation.  However, Anthony definitely kept his focus on the God he serves.

Anthony Munoz discussed very passionately his views on pursuing a Godly lifestyle and a life of Godly character.  (Despite being a Cincinnati native, this was the first time I had heard Anthony Munoz speak)  The talk was excellent.  Anthony focused on Romans 12:1-2.  Romans 12 is an impactful passage for him because it reminds him how to re-focus his lifestyle, his mission and his vision to God daily.  Let’s face it.  We all fall short and miss God’s mark daily.  But we can recalibrate and refocus daily too.  And we do not need to be an All-Pro NFL Hall of Famer to do so.

Mr. Munoz was passionate in showing his humanity despite his illustrious career.  Anthony’s life has not always been the life we all know of him now.  Anthony grew up in a poor neighborhood of Southern California.  He grew up in a single parent home.  He grew up not knowing his father.  Yet, he made it.  Not just monetarily either.  He made it spiritually.

Learn how you can too and learn how the three points shared in Anthony’s talk can help you too.

Finally, please share in the comments how you are looking to make an impact and sacrifice yourself daily?
