Job Description: Project Manager (SCRUM Master)
The Project Manager will enable successful project delivery through disciplined project management processes and close collaboration with the business partners, the project development team and the various IT functions. The Project Manager will be required to know or learn Client IT’s project and process methodology and to execute it within the established the Client and Client-IT organizational framework and oversight processes. We need a very strong Scrum Master (preferably Scrum Master Certified); someone that can lead the team through the project deliverables and adoption of Agile development.
Essential Job Duties:
• Lead various Agile development projects
• Be responsible for sprint planning and execution
• Be responsible for removal/escalation of impediments
• Serve as a mentor and coach to members of the sprint team
• Be responsible for reporting of risks, impediments, sprint, and release progress
• Mentor team members in various areas of Agile; serve as an Agile proponent throughout organization
• Lead teams in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
• Facilitate issue resolution
• Facilitate the team in identifying and managing interactivity dependencies within product development
• Facilitate the estimation of product back-log items
• Act as the focal point for project communications
• Conduct on-going project meetings
• Gather and disseminate project information on a regular basis (end of sprint summary report)
• Create an environment of team spirit
• Work with a Program Manager and other Scrum Masters to identify and address cross-project dependences
• Contribute to ongoing refinement of software development processes
